Rewinding line
Braking uses freely rotating urethane rollers that don't scratch the coil surface and maintain sufficient coil tension, so the coil stays tightly wound even when removed. The braking energy isn't wasted either — it is re-used in the traction motor.
The braking unit's web guiding is equipped with an edge-tracking sensor and servo control, which together ensure straight edges on the finished coils.
The machine has an easy-to-use, clear touch-screen interface. The coiling-tension adjustment is located on a movable control console.
Lifting bridge
The roller-equipped lifting bridge between the braking unit and the coiler eases the insertion of the plate. The coiler grips the plate end hydraulically.
