A website without tracking
This website is a static site that works without collecting personal data. It uses no cookies, no analytics, and no advertising or social media trackers. All resources, including fonts, images, scripts and the map on the contact page are served from our own domain, so visiting the site does not send requests to any third party.
Language choice stored in your browser
When you first arrive at the site, your browser's language setting is read on your device to show the site in Finnish or English. This happens entirely in your browser and nothing is stored or transmitted.
If you switch languages with the FI / EN links, your choice
(fi or en) is saved in your browser's local
storage so the site opens in that language on your next visit. This value
never leaves your browser, and you can remove it at any time by clearing
the site data in your browser settings.
When you contact us
If you contact us by email or phone, we use the details you provide only to respond to and handle your enquiry. We do not use them for marketing and do not share them with anyone else, unless separately agreed with you. We keep correspondence for as long as it is relevant to the customer relationship. Our machines stay in use for decades, and earlier messages often help with spare part and service matters.
Server logs
Like any website, delivering pages technically involves processing your IP address, and the web server may keep standard access logs for security and troubleshooting. These logs are not used to identify visitors and are not combined with any other data. The site is hosted in Finland by Multim Oy.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, along with the regulation's other rights such as restricting or objecting to processing. For anything related to this statement, contact us at jk.kone@jkkone.fi. If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you can also contact the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
